MISSION AMERICA

A ministry of helps in church planting and restoration to

Baptist Churches

Van and Shelia White

Brother Van White and wife Shelia were saved at the Fullerville Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia under Pastor Horace Wilson on October 5, 1975.  Brother White began preaching in October of 1977.  He has pastored churches in Georgia and Alabama and has started three churches and four bus ministries.  He has worked in prison ministries and has run tent revivals and done missionary work most of his Christian life.

The Lord allowed Brother White to meet Dr. Max Alderman in 2007 in Dublin, Georgia where he reopened a Baptist Church that had closed.  Brother Max Alderman is the founder and administrator of the Philip Ministries and was the Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Statesboro, Georgia.  The Philip Ministry helped Brother White reopen the church in Dublin, Georgia, and later on helped start the Sunday School.

After much prayer and fasting, Brother White joined the Philip Ministry as a Missionary Evangelist in July of 2008.  In June of 2009, Brother White founded "Mission America" and continues his ministry of helps to churches and pastors across America.

The Lord has given Bro. White a burden to assist pastors and churches that may be just starting out or in need of a helping hand.  He is available to help churches that are experiencing difficulties and has need of encouragement and assistance in a particular area.

Bro White's desire is to come alongside the pastor and work with him to encourage him in his labor for the Lord, thus fulfilling the Biblical exhortation of Revelation 3:2 "strengthening the things which remain".  We can do this by obeying Galatians 6:2  "Bear ye one another's burdens".
